Hi, here are some steps to show you how to restore the BIOS setting to manufacture default and restore the NVR system.
Step:
Reset CMOS and disconnect the RAID cable
Switch off AC power and disconnect the AC power cord.
Pull out the power pin of CMOS battery ( The position of the red frame ) and wait 1 minute.
Plug in the power pin of CMOS battery.
Pull out the RAID cables, two cables, bottom one and upper one.
Make sure, you have keyboard mouse connected, and monitor to VGA.
Plug in AC power cord back , switch on systems, then system will auto bootup.
Config the BIOS setting and save
Continue Hit the <Delete> key while the system is booting-up, system will switch to BIOS mode.
Make sure the BIOS follow these settings and action of the following table:
After the last step, 7, Save & Exit – Save Changes and Reset, wait for 10 sec, then hit the reset button on front panel.
Then systems will come back to Windows Login page
Restore system by VHD
Power on NVR, system will boot up and come to Menu: :”Choose an operating system, select “Backup and Restore Tools”, hit the Enter Key.
Select 1, then show OS disk, hit Enter Key.
Select 1, Restore system to factory default, then system will show Restore Process, will take about 5 min.
After factory default restore, systems will stop at “Hit Anykey” , then Windows will restart to Windows initial screen.
Follow Windows initial process to complete necessary steps.
After Windows setup, shutdown systems, switch off power, unplug AC Power cord.
After restore system, please follow the QSG to set up the Windows.
Connect the RAID cable and boot up system
Make sure NVR is off and the AC power cord disconnected.
Plug in two RAID cables.
Connect the AC power cord then switch on systems, that will auto boot up system.
Re-create the RAID set and VD
Enter to MegaRAID manager and delete the ALL VD
Re-create the RAID set and GVD volume.
